About Us

Welcome to the Greers Ferry Lake Area Razorback Club, one of the most successful clubs in the Razorback Nation! We are starting our 8th year being part of the National Razorback Foundation which includes 23 clubs in Arkansas and surrounding states. For the last 5 years our club has been a Broyles-Matthews Platinum level member which is the largest giving level in the Razorback Foundation and the highest achievement a club can receive. In 2018 only 5 of the 23 Razorback Clubs reached that level.

In our history we have hosted several great Razorback banquet events featuring special guest speakers such as legendary Coach Frank Broyles, Head Baseball Coach Dave Van Horn, Head Basketball Coach Mike Anderson, Head Track Coach Chris Buckman and Voice of the Razorbacks Chuck Barrett. In 2018 we hosted our banquet in Heber Springs with Special Guest Speaker, Head Football Coach Chad Morris and earlier this year we had Coach Morris back in the Greers Ferry Lake area in Clinton.  Both banquets were very successful and had a great turnout!

Every year we send 30 youth and leaders to a game in Fayetteville in conjunction with the Burlsworth Foundation. The Burlsworth Foundation is a foundation formed after Brandon Burlsworth was tragically killed in a car accident after his graduation in April of 1999. The foundation is the realization of a dream of Brandon Burlsworth himself. The belief that every child is a gift. In 2018 we sent students from two local school systems. Students attended their first Razorback football game in Fayetteville. Before kickoff the students were allowed to go down on the sidelines for the pregame show. Each student was also provided meals, a lower-level seat next to the student section, and spending money during the game. After the game students got to meet the players and coaches to have pictures and get autographs.
