About Us

Welcome to the Greers Ferry Lake Area Razorback Club, one of the most successful clubs in the Razorback Nation! We are starting our 8th year being part of the National Razorback Foundation which includes 23 clubs in Arkansas and surrounding states. For the last 3 years our club has been a Broyles-Matthews Platinum level member which is the largest giving level in the Razorback Foundation and the highest achievement a club can receive. In 2015 only 4 of the 23 Razorback Clubs reached that level. The Greers Ferry Lake Area Razorback club ranked 5th out of the 23 clubs in its level of donations.

In our short seven year history we have hosted several great Razorback banquet events featuring special guest speakers such as legendary Coach Frank Broyles, Head Football Coach Bret Bielema, Head Baseball Coach Dave Van Horn, Head Basketball Coach Mike Anderson, Head Track Coach Chris Buckman and Voice of the Razorbacks Chuck Barrett. In 2016 we hosted two exciting banquets in the Greers Ferry Lake area.  The first was in Heber Springs where we featured Special Guest Speakers: Chris Buckman, head of the Mens Track Program; Lance Harter, head of the Women's Track Program; and Dave Van Horn the Head Baseball Coach. Our second was in Clinton with the Defensive Coordinator Robb Smith, and Offensive Coordinator Dan Enos.  Both banquets were a great success and had an amazing turn out.

Every year we send 30 youth and leaders to a game in Fayetteville in conjunction with the Burlsworth Foundation. The Burlsworth Foundation is a foundation formed after Brandon Burlsworth was tragically killed in a car accident after his graduation in April of 1999. The foundation is the realization of a dream of Brandon Burlsworth himself. The belief that every child is a gift. In 2016 we sent students from two local school systems. Students attended their first Razorback football game in Fayetteville. Before kickoff the students were allowed to go down on the sidelines for the pregame show. Each student was also provided meals, a lower-level seat next to the student section, and spending money during the game. After the game students got to meet the players and coaches to have pictures and get autographs.
